Common questions

Is student tuition billing included?

Yes. Track fee plans, log payments, and share balances with students. That is separate from your Dojo Manager subscription.

Can I import my existing roster?

Yes. Import from Excel or CSV, including legacy tracker workbooks.

What happens when my trial ends?

We will ask you to choose a paid plan before adding more students or staff. Your data stays in your account.

Is there a plan for individuals who train alone?

Yes — an Individual tier is on the roadmap for personal training logs, resources across disciplines, and optional marketplace access. Dojo plans remain available today. Use Notify me — Individual to join the waitlist.

What about training pods?

Training pods will get lightweight tools to find partners and organize small groups, with a path to full dojo features later. Details are on the Training pods page.

Will enrolled students use the marketplace too?

Yes. The same marketplace is meant for people already on your roster and for learners who are not members yet — so schools can share content without maintaining two catalogs.

How will map search work?

You will search by region and discipline on a map: schools on Dojo Manager, other nearby listings, and online options. Individuals and training pods show up only if they opt in. See Find training near you on the homepage.

Which languages are supported?

English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese for the Americas. More languages can follow as schools ask for them.

Is my school’s data isolated from other dojos?

Yes. Access checks and database protections keep each school’s records separate.

Do you store card numbers?

No. When online billing ships, card handling will go through Stripe. Student tuition logging today is manual and does not store cards.
